Mrs. Bodine's First Grade Class.

'The key to success is an education.' -George Washington Carver.

First grade is a critical time for young boys and girls. During this time they learn many new concepts and it is the teacher's job to make sure that the learning process is fun as well as educational. Children are very impressionable at a young age, so educators should make sure that they are a good influence on their students. We should always model the appropriate behaviors in front of our students.

'I wanted to know the name of every stone and flower and insect and bird and beast. I wanted to know where it got its color, where it got its life - but there was no one to tell me.' -George Washington Carver.

Let us always encourage students to ask questions and be willing to give the answers, and if we don't know the answers find them!
